My 2 1/2 year old has been going to gymnastics class every Saturday morning for the past few months at Chelsea Piers. He's in the Tumblin' Tots class and really enjoys it. There are different gym apparatus for them to climb on and activities for them to participate in. They also have rock climbing for the kids.
There are 2 instructors for the group of about 12. Jarmine who is the lead instructor, is fabulous.
Also, at the end of the "semester", Chelsea Piers has a "Festival Week" where the kids can try out the other sports activities (e.g. soccer, basketball) that are available.
